QuickPan IV Rotator Base and Discs

This new rotator is simpler; providing an unparalleled positive silky-smooth click-stop action with a new series of inexpensive, interchangeable and compact detent discs.
Every QuickPan IV rotator comes standard with nine detent discs (0, 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 18) which should cover most possible panoramic shooting situations with either fisheye or rectilinear lenses.

All the discs come in a convenient carrying pouch that has a handy "Number of Shots" table. It's also a great place to store memory cards or other odds and ends.
Detent discs are available in any number of indexing positions from 0 (blank - for free rotation) through 22 positions (22 through 36 are available upon special order) at at $3.99 each.

The discs are made from a high-strength bearing polymer that provides a very long life working in conjunction with the included stainless steel ball plunger.

All QuickPan IV rotators include a 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tripod mounting thread and have a convenient storage location for the threaded adapter bushing. Like the prior QuickPan III design, the QuickPan IV rotator includes a centrally mounted bubble level and a rotation locking/friction drag feature.

QuickPan IV Standard Bracket

Designed to support most digital and film cameras in a portrait orientation. Used primarily to shoot single-row or cylindrical panoramas, the Standard Camera Bracket can be adjusted along the horizontal arm of the Rotator Base in order to locate the camera in the side-to-side orientation. There are three slots in the bracket, that when used with various positioning aids, provide for the fore-aft adjustment of the camera's optical center, or nodal point, over the rotational center of the tripod head.
